Daily Summary
I started my administration job today at Hotel Carlos V with Sharon. We started off with reception duties, greeting guests on arrival. We learnt the various coding systems for the different room types. Everyone seems very friendly, and teamwork is very evident.
Learning & Positive Aspects of the Day
I had to look up booking forms and book them into the appropriate room types, and take note whether breakfast was included or not and whom they made the booking through eg through booking.com or direct from hotel etc.
Challenges Encountered
I’m hoping I will be able to retain all that I’m learning so as to be able to put it all into practice when I’m back at college.
Self-Evaluation
I think its extremely important tbat I retain as much information as I can because all the work experience I’m gaining will be so relevant to me in my future career.
Cultural
Tonight as a group we went to La Alborea Tablao, which is known to be the purest flamenco of Granada. It was a one hour show of traditional flamenco dance and song. go La Flamenco, which is known to be the purest Flamenco of Granada.
