Diary Number: 4
Today was my fourth day on work Experience. The school starts at 9 am so we catch the school every day which is great and we get to mix with staff on the students on the way.
The day was spent teaching 4 yr olds how to write in English and read the word, they are so advanced for their age. The teacher is beginning to give us free reign with the kids and the kids are asking us lots of questions.
In the afternoon a few of us strolled around the streets, finding more and more little streets with cute cafes and wonderful shops.
In the evening we all met up for a catch-up that was lovely hearing everyone’s different feedback from their work placements. We are all learning from each other.
Learning & Positive Aspects of the Day
I learned that I have patience with the children and feel quite confident teaching this age group which has been great for my morale going forward. I am sure that someday I will live in Spain so it’s really good to see how work life is here.
I found it quite challenging dealing with 7 children at once needed help with work, I admire their teacher who goes it alone every day.
I am patient but able to help the children in a confident manner.
every corner you turn is beautiful I would love to learn more about the history.
