Daily Summary
Today was really wet in Granada. School starts at 9am and the kids put on their bibs before starting work , first class was English where the kids learned about a house and an open and close door. I help them with hand writing and English words. They then have a morning break. Today as it was raining they went to the gym. I leave at 1pm when they are taking their afternoon break. I really love these kids and I am getting very used to their little personalities.
In the evening a beer tasting event was organized for us this was great and took us through a beautiful area of Granada.
Learning & Positive Aspects of the Day
I learned that I feel comfortable with this age group and that they are little sponges for learning.
Challenges Encountered
One child wouldn’t listen to me I need to work on my assertiveness.
Self-Evaluation
I am becoming confident and learning a little more Spanish.
Cultural
A beer tasting evening and walking through a beautiful part of Granada.
