After a visit of the beautiful medieval town of Barcelos we visited the Apaci center, an organisation whose aim is to train adults with learning disability to become active members of society. Apaci is 40 years old. It’s success rate for insertion into the work force is about 60% and it offers a pleasant environment for outdoor learning.
