So we have come to the end of our second week here in Maribor, Slovenia and I have really enjoyed the week.
We visited the capital city, Ljubljana on Saturday and it was beautiful. The weather was great to begin with but sadly it rained very heavily in the afternoon. Still, we got to see some sights and buy some little gifts from the market stalls there.
Work experience is going very well and the hours I am working allows for some time to explore Maribor a little more which is lovely. This week I visited the aquarium which is situated in the beautiful city park and it was an afternoon well spent.
There was also a music festival on in the town, next to where we are staying so there was a real buzz about the place.
The weather here has taken a turn for the better and the sun has been shining for a few days, so hoping it lasts.
