Settling into the rhythm of working in the day, wandering around the city then meeting in the evening to share tips and chat about our day.
Learning & Positive Aspects of the Day
Finding that I really like the people that I am working within the hotel has been a huge bonus. They are so kind and friendly, it has made work much more fun.
Challenges Encountered
Numbers in Spanish are still difficult when spoken so resorting to pointing to hotel room numbers on forms and invoices or writing them down.
Self-Evaluation
Feel more confident in competently carrying out financial transactions within the hotel.
Cultural
Visited the Albaicin area in the evening which have spectacular views over the mountains and Alhambra Fortress. Spent a couple of hours wandering around the market there.
