Daily Summary:
Today was mainly computer work we were shown how to do the invoices and how to put them into spreadsheets. We were also shown how to do a trail balance and count the money in the box for the end of the day. We were also serving the guests breakfast and making sure the place was clean and ready for other guests to arrive.
Learning & Positive Aspects of the Day:
It was great to be able to use my knowledge of computers from college and know how to use it here like the spreadsheets.
Challenges Encountered
As the computers are in Spanish it was hard to understand where everything was put and what the names of the folders they were using are called.
Self-Evaluation:
I think I got on well and near the end of the day I could understand a bit more.
Cultural:
After work we had some free time to do some shopping, the shopping was amazing! It was nice to see the different Spanish shops that are similar to the ones at home. It was nice to see that they had already put up there Christmas tree and it was huge!
