Daily Summary
Today I arrived to work placement at 8.30 a.m. I Was helping teachers to prepare a Montessori environment before children came. When children came at 9 I was just sitting and observing for 3 hours. Before lunch, we took children to the playground. I also helped teachers to prepare everything for lunch. After that, we went outside with some of the children.
Learning & Positive Aspects of the Day
I learned more about Montessori equipment. Teacher also showed me how to do observations in Spain. I also learnt more terminology used in Montessori schools.
Challenges Encountered
I found very hard to sit down and observe. The language barrier also was a challenge.
Self-Evaluation
I feel like I could do more during my time in a work placement.
Cultural
- Today after work placement we went shopping. The shopping centre was amazing and so big. I also tried so many different types of food today and I think that food here is yummy.
