Daily Summary:
Today was First day In my work Placement. I arrived at 9:00 a.m I meet the English teacher in the Staff room. The First thing that the English teacher gives us was the week timetable for each room and she started discuss about the Children daily routine of what they do thought out day. From 9:30 a.m I went down to the Preschool room Children and Started Free Play activity for 30 minutes. After that the teacher organised the painting activity for the children I was helping the teacher to bring all material to the children table that the children were going to used for this painting activity.
Learning & Positive Aspects of the Day
The positive aspects of the day was that In Spanish classroom they using a whiteboard for English rhymes and for story as well to help the children improve their English language
Challenges Encountered
The most challenging part was that I was bit nervous because of the new Placement and there is a language barrier with Staff as well as with Children. I started to Interact with the Children but I find it really Challenging when they are asking for stuff.
Self-Evaluation
Today I feel bit nervous in my new work setting because of the language barrier specially in the Spanish classroom and also it was hard to interact with children and with staff.
